<Behold Zal’s sad MSpaint edit skills>
I swear from what I’ve seen so far, Kenji from cfv reminds me of Andrien. Sure, it’s definitely not an exact match. Both are such adorable and sweet guys though. Precious babus… ;___;
I can’t lie, I miss the old days. Coming back to SWTOR after my WoW vacation feels like coming back to a party that most people have left.
I knew late last year and early this year the tumblr SWTOR fandom was going through changes and people were moving on. I think the events zalaaca and I tried to run were desperate last attempts to hold on to something that was slipping away fast. I had so much fun on some of them that it was hard to put the paddles down and call time of death, so to speak.
People left the swtormblr guilds in droves. A good portion of the people I followed for SWTOR content no longer post about SWTOR at all. Hell, most of the people posting in the tag now probably aren’t even on Ebon Hawk.
I need to start looking for a new guild to join and try to meet new people. Staying in the swtormblr guilds just feels… lonely. :/
Agreed. I also miss the old days as well. Back then a good part of the tumblr swtor fandom was a lot like a nice little family. We had a heck of a lot of fun doing different things like rp, operations, events, lowbie runs, etc. It was always nice to talk to other fans and share character stories, ideas, thoughts, and such. Those were some great times.
However, like what happens in a lot of other fandoms, over time things start to change. People will start to go towards other fandoms, pursue other interests, join different things for different reasons, leave due to rl, etc. Time changes things, it’s a natural part of life. Sometimes those changes will be positive and other times it’ll leave a much different effect. The community will change over time no matter what.
I’m sorry I haven’t been active much on tumblr or swtor during the past few months. For swtor, a good part of it was because I felt the ‘mmo burnout’ after the fall of the guild/community. Right now I still have that burnout feeling for mmos, just don’t feel start spark now when I check into those games. However I kept checking on the guild these past few months and sometimes I felt sad coming online and seeing how much the guild has died out, especially during late spring/early summer of this year. Remembered trying to do some events around that time but the events got little interest. :/
Things change. Sometimes for good and sometimes for not. I know I’ll definitely keep a lot of the fun memories. Heck, I still have a lot of the screenshots I’ve taken from events, rp, etc stored in some folders. Try to remember the positive. :D
Good luck.
So I made that new tumblr for gaming/cfv/rl/reblog/whatever posts. It’ll be updated more often than this tumblr since I’m kinda taking a break from mmos. Feel free to follow it if you want. Thank you! ^__^
Also another reminder about this for those that missed the first post. ^^

Hello again Tumblr. Wow it has been awhile…
I’m sorry I haven’t been that active in swtor and tumblr the past few months. So many things have happened rl and it has been keeping me very busy, especially these past few weeks. However I do feel like I’m getting better. Not getting depressed that often anymore. I still got a long ways to improve though. Sorry if there was any trouble before. :(
Anyways, I’m still working on gaming and fan-ish stuff when I have the time. Things have changed a bit though. For video games, I’ve been mostly playing Pokémon Y and Skyrim. Had a blast with Pokémon Y. So many feels with that ending though. I might be restarting the game and pick a different starter. Want to experience the story again. As for Skyrim, debating if I want to get the pc version for screenshots and editing fun. The Xbox version is fun but I’m running into issues with the game suddenly freezing or not saving.
At the moment I kinda feel meh about mmos. Haven’t been actively playing. I usually just log in to chat or check the auctions. Sometimes I try to work on something like leveling a character or doing a quest, but then I just stop because I start to feel extremely bleh about it. Maybe one day that spark will come back.
My love for TCGs have popped back up though surprisingly. Last time I played any TCG was back in 2007/2008. I only have the funds to support one game at the moment so I did some research. I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh but after seeing all the changes and such, nopenopenope. >__>
So after a bit of research I decided to try out Cardfight Vanguard. Gods this game is so much fun. I still got a lot to learn but I’m getting there. Found a great group and schedule to play this game. My main clan is the Royal Paladins. The deck has changed quite a bit since I first started playing a few weeks back. It still needs some work though. I also have a Gold Paladin deck but it’s going to need a ton of work since it’s pretty much the Liberator starter deck with a few different cards added in.
<Insert comment about Royal/Gold Paladin decks being full of sexy guys…>

<Also insert comment about how sexy those Blaster Blades are…>
Ahem…
Depending how things go over the weekend, I might start up a new tumblr for cfv, gaming, random posts, etc. Don’t want to spam everyone’s dashboard with non-swtor posts with this tumblr. >__>
Thank you.
